This end of year, we would like to take a moment to thank all of our nursery staff members who go above and beyond to provide our children with the very best experiences across our nurseries. Their dedication, passion, and hard work throughout the year never go unnoticed.
From assisting with Ofsted inspections to the daily operations of our sites, managing teams, and organising events, our staff consistently display dedication and professionalism. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Apprentices, Early Years Practitioners, Room Leads, Deputy Managers, Managers, and Area Managers for their collective contributions to a strong and successful 2025. We also wish to acknowledge our remarkable cooks, who may often go unnoticed, but whose efforts behind the scenes guarantee that our children receive a healthy and well-balanced diet that meets all dietary requirements.
We are especially proud of Thrybergh nursery, who achieved an Outstanding Ofsted rating in March, becoming the first nursery in our chain to do so. This was shortly followed by The Fun Hub nursery also achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating in June. This is a fantastic achievement, and we are fully committed to maintaining this high standard. Carlton-In-Lindrick nursery also received a Good rating in May and successfully completed their inspection.
We have welcomed a number of new apprentices into our nurseries and successfully supported seven bootcamp students across our settings through Puzzled Education. We continue to support them on their journey in Early Years.
We are delighted that two members of staff have undertaken their Forest School training, balancing their learning alongside their roles through off-site training and home study. We look forward to supporting them as they progress with their qualifications in the New Year and introduce new skills and experiences into our settings.
We have also continued to strengthen our commitment to outdoor learning. This includes the addition of a purpose-built outdoor classroom at Athersley nursery, an extended garden at North Anston nursery featuring a forest garden and built-in fire pit, and further forest-style garden developments at Carlton-in-Lindrick nursery and Maltby nursery.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our families for their continued support and trust. Without you, we would not be able to do what we do, and we are truly grateful for the partnership we share in supporting your children.
And finally, to our children — you are at the heart of everything we do. You make all our hard work worthwhile, bringing smiles to our faces every day and reminding us to expect the unexpected. You are our future generation, and our future, and it is a privilege to be part of your journey.
