What’s Been Happening in Our Nurseries This November

November flew by in a flash — and what a celebratory month it has been!
Our children threw themselves into the excitement of Bonfire Night, creating dazzling rockets, glitter-filled artwork and sparkling tuff tray activities. Flames made from tissue paper and collage brought the theme to life, and the creativity on display was incredible.

Our North Anston children enjoyed a real treat outdoors, gathering around a small forest fire to sing songs about fireworks — a truly heart-warming and memorable morning.

Remembrance Day was an especially meaningful time across all our nurseries. Our teams spent thoughtful moments with the children, helping them understand the significance of the day in a gentle, age-appropriate way. Together, they created beautiful handmade wreaths using handprints, paper and paint.
Children from Herringthorpe and Eastwood made a special trip to the Cenotaph in Clifton Park, where they laid their wreaths and took a quiet moment of reflection. We were so proud of each and every one of them.

Our Carlton children celebrated World Kindness Day by delivering books throughout the community for others to discover. They learned that showing kindness to others is one of the best ways to practise being kind themselves.

Another major highlight this month was welcoming seven Puzzled Education Bootcamp students into our Maltby, Athersley, Thrybergh and North Anston nurseries. They gained valuable hands-on experience, met our wonderful teams and truly shone during their time with us — making a real impact in each setting.
We’re thrilled to share that since graduating with Puzzled Education, we have offered the students apprenticeship placements, and they will be joining us officially next month!

Now, as November draws to a close, we look forward to the busiest, most magical and exciting time of the year… December!
